We hear this one often and for good reason. When you call Unlimited Progress L.L.C. we set up a time that is convenient for you to come and see you in person. The only way to accurately quote a project, is to evaluate it on site. Any company can give you an over the phone quote, but it will never be accurate. What happens is they either over-estimate the project giving themselves enough profit to ensure they make money or they under-estimate the project and have to make up excuses afterward to get you to pay more.
Most every new customer we meet tells us they have already paid for the job once and the "contractor" disappeared. NEVER! NEVER! NEVER! pay in advance. I will say it one more time, NEVER!. Many unlicensed, uninsured, hobby "contractors" or handymen will ask for money in advance for their materials. Don't be fooled, if a company is not financially secure enough to carry your project, they are not the right company. At Unlimited Progress L.L.C., we will not ask you for money up front. We will not accept payment until your project is complete. On larger, long term projects, we will invoice each line item on a quote as they are completed.
In the 23 years we have been in business, I have never had a price increase from the time of quote to the time of complete billing. They do sometimes go down. Simply put, if we give you a price we complete the job for that price. The only time our price may change is if you add something. In that case you will be given a new quote for the additional work. Transparency is the key to long lasting relationships.
In middle Tennessee, Pressure treated lumber hands down. In a limitless budget situation, composite is great. Unfortunately it is also twice the price. A quality built, properly maintained deck will last approximately 20 years. People on average spend 7 years in a home before they sell it. We try to help our customers find the cheapest and best option to fill their needs.
The first people you will need to talk to in the event of needing a septic repair or replacement is the nice folks down at the Tennessee Dept. of Environment and Conservation. If this is a new system, they will charge you a permit fee of $500 and have you fill out a form. If it is a repair, the fee is $100. After the paperwork is complete, a state environmentalist will visit your property, test the soil, and fill out your permit with the requirements for the system. The second people you need to talk to is Unlimited Progress L.L.C., we will also visit your property and write you a quote.
Most kitchens have two circuits feeding the counter top outlets. If you look closely, a couple of the plugs will have a little different shape to them. They should have two little buttons, one says test and the other says reset. press the reset button. this will reset the GFCI outlet and cure about 90% of the problems. If this does not cure the problem, give Unlimited Progress L.L.C. a call. We are here to help and may be able to help right over the phone for free!
